Express Scholarships
OVERVIEW
The Express Scholarship is designed to meet Air Force ROTC officer production requirements in specific fields and year groups. The list of approved fields and year groups varies from time to time and may change at any time without notice.
This program awards Type 2 scholarships (tuition capped at $15,000 per year) and an annual textbook allowance. Technical (Engineering) scholarships are Type 1 (full) scholarships and include the annual textbook allowance.
The Express Scholarship program is operated on a fully-qualified basis. Those who meet the qualifications are awarded the scholarship and do not meet a scholarship selection board. The processing of the scholarship is completed at the local detachment. Contact the Unit Admissions Officer at afrotc@iit.edu or at 312-567-3525 for details on how to apply.
