Capt William Boland

Capt William Boland is the Unit Education Officer and Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies at Detachment 195, Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC), Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois. Detachment 195 is responsible for educating, training, and commissioning officer candidates and is the only AFROTC Detachment in the greater Chicago area; serving cadets from 17 different colleges and universities.

Captain Boland is a 2001 graduate of Saint Thomas Academy military high school in Mendota Heights, MN.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2005 from Creighton University, Omaha, NE.  Captain Boland was commissioned as a second lieutenant through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corp on 7 May 2005.
